Queen of Spades

Based on Russian folklore, four children awaken an ancient demon named the QUEEN OF SPADES believing it’s just a game. When two of the children die in freak accidents in the following days, ANNA tries to convince her mother MARY that the curse is real. With the help of recruited “expert” SMIRNOV, whose son was killed by the entity, they struggle to rid themselves of the curse. But is Smirnov truly an “expert” or just a troubled grieving father who has lost touch with reality? Is the Queen of Spades real? Or just a figment of a child calling out for attention?
